Global mobile technology provider Cloudbanter is offering mobile users a unique new way of utilising Artificial Intelligence (AI) within its messaging, apps and phone technology.
Cloudbanter technology, which is available through a range of platforms including AI Messages, the AI SDK Toolkit and AI Phone apps, allows users to monetise their user data and receive tangible rewards and incentives for accepting a fixed banner at the bottom of the app screen for adverts and content. It is now powered by AI capabilities which can match, track and learn user activity, behaviour and lifestyle trends within the app to make adverts and content even more relevant and beneficial to the user.
Adverts and content delivered to the user’s screen as a fixed banner are based on their profile and preferences. Individuals opt-in to the service and select criteria, meaning all banners are personalised, unobtrusive, real-time, contextual, location and lifestyle-based.
Cloudbanter’s new AI capabilities mean adverts and content can be refined and personalised even further utilising this technology to learn and adapt what is delivered based on user activity, interactions and behaviour as well as defined choices and interests. AI capabilities are also utilised within the AI Messages app to automatically sort and segment the user’s contacts and messages based upon conversations, saving time and enhancing the overall messaging experience.
Graham Williams, CEO, Cloudbanter says: “Embedding AI into the Cloudbanter AI Messages, AI SDK Toolkit and AI Phone apps was the obvious next step for our technology. We can offer each user their own personal AI functionality and experience within each app, helping it to learn and refine user preferences so all adverts and content are highly relevant and beneficial to them.”
“Our ‘powered by AI’ functionality within each app, means Cloudbanter learns from the habits, interactions, behaviour and conversations individuals have and, alongside their user profile and preferences, delivers personalised lifestyle adverts and content directly onto their screen. It will also offer the capability to sort conversations and communications into categories and decide which are more important to the user. In today’s busy and data-driven world, this will deliver a better, more rewarding and time efficient mobile experience.”
Through the ‘powered by AI’ Cloudbanter apps, users are rewarded through an ongoing user incentive, points-based redemption scheme. By using the apps and accepting targeted adverts and content, they can redeem points for cashback, SMS, airtime, data allowances and other offers and promotions. Points are automatically collected and allocated to the user account, and can then be redeemed.
“Trust is, of course, vital to any AI, but we combine this with enabling users to set their profile and preferences around what they do and don’t want to see. Plus, and this is noticeably lacking from most free applications which deliver adverts in today’s market, Cloudbanter offers the chance to get something back for the adverts and content users receive from the brands they love such as offers, discounts, promotions, events, news and much more,” Graham continues.
“We believe users should be able to monetise their personal user data – a complete shift away from the traditional relationship between corporations and mobile users where the former has generated huge revenues from using individual’s mobile data but offered nothing in return to the end user.”
Cloudbanter’s monetisation and personalisation technology can be used within messaging (SMS, IM Chat and Voice) and apps (Customer Care, Money, Internet TV, IoT, etc) and all phone usage, helping mobile operators and app providers to monetise services more effectively to increase revenue and reduce churn rate, and the user to enhance their mobile experience via adverts and content based on their profile and preferences.
