Mobile agency Ansible launches in Philippines

Ansible, a mobile marketing and technology agency under IPG Mediabrands, has been launched in Philippines, its fifth office in the APAC region. The agency has 23 offices in 15 countries globally.

As a specialist agency, Ansible offers strategy, media planning and buying, marketing and analytics besides UX, creative, technology, development and enterprise solutions.

Its MiBeacons platform provides location-based advertising, and the agency recently released MDEX, a global study assessing the mobile readiness of brands based on mobile presence and performance.

Jay Arellano will lead Ansible’s Philippines operation as managing director.

Speaking on Ansible’s Philippines launch, Scott McBride, chief digital officer IPG Mediabrands APAC said in a statement: “Ansible is a key growth driver for IPG Mediabrands across the region and it’s fantastic to see the next addition to the Ansible family happening in the dynamic Philippine market.”

“In an ever-complex and fragmented ecosystem, coupled with the rapid rise of mobile, the launch of Ansible provides us with the tools and capabilities to help clients navigate the mobile marketing landscape and drive into the future,” said Arellano.

Ansible has already been active in the country. The company created real-time event feeds for the Miss Universe pageant held in Manila in January, in partnership with LCS Corp. The feeds drew 20 million views worldwide, according to the company.
