Singapore government-owned broadcaster MediaCorp has signed up Sizmek to provide its mobile ad solutions, ramping up its play in mobile across its online properties.
The partnership is part of a spate of ad tech announcements from the broadcaster, as it announced that it was partnering with Outbrain on content monetisation.
The deal with Sizmek will see MediaCorp brands, including Channel News Asia, Elle, Toggle, and TodayOnline, adopting the ad tech to serve dynamic mobile ads.
The deal will be across mobile and desktop and include a partnership on viewability. Sizmek will also build custom ads and provide training to MediaCorp sales staff.
MediaCorp said the investment was a response to growing demand for more dynamic ads that are linked to data.
“We are staying true to our core values of engaging, entertaining, and enriching our audiences by harnessing the power of creativity,” said Rodney Tay, vice president, digital sales solutions and operations at MediaCorp.
“We continue to work very closely with technology partners such as Sizmek to bring better digital experiences to our advertisers in Southeast Asia,” Tay added, “Our publisher paid model to advertisers in the region helps marketers with their digital investments.”
